Fearlessness in Everyday Life

Way of Shambhala is a series of courses designed to awaken us to the potential of our lives. It teaches us to live meaningfully with joy; to deepen our intelligence and compassion, and to learn to unify the practical and the profound. Daily life becomes an opportunity to further cultivate these qualities.
The Fearlessness in Everyday Life course mixes meditation with the vastness of space beyond concept. Through an exploration of the Buddhist teachings of emptiness and clear seeing, the meditator opens to the groundlessness, uncertainty and creativity of the world as it is. By exploring the entrapping emotions of hope and fear, we learn to soar fearlessly. There will be opportunities to discuss challenges in our meditation practice at individual interviews.
Pre-requisite: completion of the Contentment in Everyday Life, and Joy in Everyday Life courses.
Schedule: Please note that the schedule includes one day-long retreat on April 8th. On the three Mondays (3/27, 4/3, and 4/10) please participate in the sitting period from 6pm to 7pm, if you can.
