Full Moon Shambhala Sadhana Gathering (Special Event)

with Acharya Susan Chapman

August 6th

    Room: Main meditation hall

The Kongma Sakyong Jampal Trinley Dradul wrote the Shambhala Sadhana, Discovering the Sun of Basic Goodness as a practice to bind the Shambhala community and deepen our understanding of basic goodness. The Shambhala Sadhana trains us to feel basic goodness and orients us toward creating good society on this earth. With this view in mind, Full Moon Gatherings are offered each month in Shambhala centres for Shambhala community members.

This gathering is special in that we have the great pleasure to join Acharya Chapman on a Sunday morning to practice the Shambhala Sadhana. This will take the place of what usually is the Practice Corner on the first Sunday of the month.

Prerequisites: Although these events are typically open only to members, this particular gathering is open to the public.

Please RSVP for planning HERE at your earliest convenience.

Child care may be available, depending on demand (please RSVP as soon as possible, if you would like child care).

Potluck: Please bring something to share for the concluding potluck lunch and celebration.

A donation is suggested, but not required.

We look forward to all of you joining us in these monthly Full Moon gatherings to enjoy the vision and activity of enlightened society.
