
Shambhala Sunday Morning Bodhisattva Warrior Practice

You are welcome to join us for a morning of sitting meditation, practices from the Shambhala Mahayana tradition and lively discussion about the path of warriorship in everyday life. Every Sunday morning Susan Chapman will lead these practices and teachings.
The First Sunday of each month we will train in opening our hearts by cultivating Compassion through the practice of Maitri Bhavana, a short Shambhala Buddhist practice for those who are suffering from illness.
The Third Sunday of each month we will train in opening our hearts by cultivating Kindness through the practice of the Sadhana of Kindness, a short Shambhala Buddhist practice on the power of kindness torward ourselves and others.
On Alternate Sundays we will read and contemplate teaching from our lineage followed by a discussion. Currently we are reading Ruling Your World.
Each Sunday will include opening and closing chants and conclude with a discussion.
