Shambhala Buddhist View and Practices on Death and Dying
with Acharya Susan Chapman
In this program we will learn the Shambhala Buddhist view and practices for how to prepare for death, how to practice during the dying process, and how to support our loved ones after they die. The program includes a one-day retreat.
Class One will be on preparing for death.
The day-long retreat will include the videos of the Tibetan Book of the Dead and will be a practice of envisioning the dying process.
Class Two will capture the key points of the dying process using the Sakyong's teachings.
Class Three will be on the after-death experience and the ceremonies to support those in transition.
